Taste of the Sea

Maryport is welcoming back Taste Cumbria on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August 2026 for the Taste of the Sea festival.

After the success of expanding it over two sites last year, that will happen again this Summer, ensuring it makes the very best use of the town’s waterfront. There’s the new Harbourside event space, created as part Cumberland Council’s £12 million regeneration of the town, as well as the big Marina showfield.
There will be loads going on for foodies, families, locals and visitors – keep checking back here for the latest updates, or follow Taste Cumbria on Facebook.

Here’s a taste of the festival line-up – all of this is FREE to attend. Stalls open 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

On the Marina
